Temu shoppers say they've been left 'haunted' by a 'relentless' advert for a bizarre T-shirt.

Customers claim they have been seeing repeated adverts for the top, which features the unsettling design of an overweight, human-like pig.

The Chinese e-commerce retailer is notorious for its affordable, handy gadgets and peculiar household items and accessories, such as tiny shower caps for ears, toothpick dispensers and wigs for pets.

But adverts for one of Temu's latest T-shirt designs left customers feeling uncomfortable, as scores took to social media to plead with the online marketplace to 'leave them alone.'

The Men's Stylish Pig Pattern Shirt, which retails at £4.49, features a shirtless pig designed to appear human-like, as it relaxes in a sauna with a towel draped around its neck.

According to the item's listing, over 100,000 people from across the globe have purchased the shirt - with dozens of shoppers leaving five star reviews.

Some have been left amused and 'delighted' after purchasing the peculiar garment, with one person writing: 'Awesome t-shirt, gives people a laugh, absolutely delighted.'

Another said: 'This t-shirt is excellent. Was bought for a competition and was the winner... brilliant.'

However, others have been left disturbed after being 'spammed' by Temu's social media accounts with an advert of the shirt, as many claim they have been involuntarily exposed to it 'millions of times a day.'

Taking to X, shoppers expressed their discomfort, with one questioning, 'Why does Temu want us to buy that pig shirt so badly,' as another exclaimed, 'I KEEP GETTING THIS SCARY PIG TSHIRT ADD FROM TEMU.'

Another fumed, 'LITERALLY WHY AM I BEING HAUNTED BY THE TEMU PIG SHIRT,' while a third wrote, 'LEAVE ME ALONE TEMU PIG SHIRT IM BEGGING YOU.'

A fellow customer wrote: 'Anyone else being haunted by this pig shirt on temu or am i just cursed,' while another said, 'Seeing that hideous Temu pig t shirt ad for the millionth time today.'

Another shopper raged: 'Is anyone else getting spammed with this f*****g Temu pig shirt ad??? It appears on my timelines repeatedly, this has been going on for DAYS. I have blocked this f****r 16 times and NOTHING I do makes it go away.'

In a hilarious twist, shoppers now allege that Temu have started targeting them with a different advert for a pet wig after 'complaining too much' about the shirt.

The Funny Pet Wig for Dogs & Cats, which retails at £2.17, includes a brown wig styled into a bob and placed on a what appears to be an unenthused bulldog breed.

Taking to X, a baffled customer wrote: 'We complained too much about the temu pig shirt now i’m getting pet wigs recommended to me.'

Another said: 'Well, on the bright side, the forced and relentless Temu ads have replaced the creepy pig shirt man with this diva.'
