Mila Kunis Enjoys Lunch With Lance Bass & His Family After Refusing To Leave Her Kids An Inheritance

Aug 13, 2023

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis may be worth over $200 million, but their kids aren't getting a dime.

Mila Kunis was all smiles as she enjoyed lunch with Lance Bass and Michael Turchin in Los Angeles on the weekend. The actress was dressed casually in a brown two-piece sweatsuit. She finished the look with a pair of crisp white sneakers and pulled her long hair back in a ponytail.

Lance looked just as stylish, rocking freshly dyed purple hair. The former NSYNC member also wore a hoodie with a colorful graphic on the front, while his husband wore a patterned button-up.

It appears the trio were enjoying a child-free outing, as neither Mila's two children nor Lance and Michael's twins were in tow. Lance and Michael married in 2014 and went on to welcome a son and daughter, Alexander and Violet, in October 2021 via a surrogate.

Mila's children are slightly older than her friends’ toddlers. The actress shares her daughter Wyatt, 8, and son Dimitri, 6, with her former That ‘70s Show co-star Ashton Kutcher. The pair began dating years after the show wrapped up, before tying the knot in 2015.

Ashton and Mila are both successful actors, with million-dollar fortunes to their names. But the couple have been outspoken that they don't want fame to go to their kids’ heads. This has motivated many of their headline-making parenting decision, including the choice to not leave an inheritance for their son and daughter.

The duo has said on multiple occasions they won't leave their kids an inheritance. Rather, they plan to leave their fortunes to charity.

Ashton first mentioned it in 2018 when he denied setting up a trust fund for his offspring. "I’m not setting up a trust for them," the actor explained. "We’ll end up giving our money away to charity and to various things."

Most recently, the couple's stance on inheritance made headlines again after a popular Twitter account re-shared their past comments. The tweet has garnered over 100,00 likes since.

Interestingly, the responses to the couple's comments were mixed. Many were light-hearted and joked that the famous couple wanted to spare their kids from the "nepo baby" curse. However, others suggest that it's cruel to not leave anything to your children.

"I get the instinct to be repelled by ostentatious displays of wealth but there is really absolutely nothing admirable about refusing to let your children reap the fruits of your labor sorry," one person tweeted, Buzzfeed notes. "If not for your children then for who."

"I’d love to set my children up for success somehow, giving every single penny to charity is like???" another fan reacted. A different one added, "I understand that you want your children to have values and work for stuff but like come on LMFAOOOOOO."

Other reactions said called Ashton and Mila's decision "genuinely evil" as well as "wickedness."

Ashton has a net worth of approximately $200 million, while Mila reportedly has $75 million to her name. Their children may be living in the lap of luxury right now, but unless they plan to earn their own million-dollar fortune, they won't be living the same bougie lifestyle, at least not on their parent's dime.
